Part two of my robot story.
“It’s been awhile since I found you, Lighten up”
“… ”
“Today is your first day at St Kilbern University”
“……….”
“You are a smart girl; there is no reason for you to worry your purple haired little head!”
“………………… Thankyou…”
“You’re more than welcome dear!” Lily walked out the door to her new school, she was found collapsed after having anything to eat for a few days. Terry, her new mother, took her in. But ever since, Lily could not remember where she came from, who she was, besides her name of course, or anything else. Terry gave Lily a grand meal to eat.
She looked up at the university, It was as big as Hogwarts, But even more mysterious. The first place she wanted to visit was the library, to go and be immersed in mountains of books, alone, forever. But she would find out that that would not be the case. Or so fate would it…
The library was AMAZING! Floor, upon floor of books! Science book, English books, history books, drawing books, every single type of book you could think ok; books that weighed over 20 pounds, books that only weighed ounces with only a few words written in them. oh the heaven!
Lily was reading her 5th textbook that hour when she heard a noise, she looked behind her to see a boy about her age, Blond hair, Blue jeans, Black shirt that showed off the fact that he had some muscles. He sat down next to her, and leaned forward and poked her on the cheek with his finger.
“What are you doing?” asked Lily
“Poking your face…” Replied the boy, as if he was simply answering the question.
“Why?” asked Lily
“Why not?” replied the boy.
“Sigh….” Lily got up to find another place to sit, but the boy was up faster than she was, that boy is fast! Thought Lily.
“Where are you going?” asked the boy thoughtfully
“…I don’t know…” replied Lily blandly.
“My name is Ricky, and your name is…?”
“Lily.” replied lily.
“No one ever goes into the library, ever. I have not seen a human in here for years.” Said Ricky sadly
“Sorry then, I will leave now” Replied Lily blandly as she started to leave.
“NO! Stay!” shouted Ricky as he leaped forward and grabbed Lily by the. hand. Interlocked in this hold for what felt like hours, they stared at each other, than the trance stopped and they jerked away from each other. They did not talk again for the remainder of Lilys time in the library. After a few hours, when it was dark, Ricky walked Lily to the door of the university and saw her out to the dorms, but he himself did not leave the doorway.
“Are you coming” replied Lily curiously.
“In a bit, I have to finish something in here first!” replied Ricky, but somehow not with his usual flare she saw earlier that evening.
“Good night”
“Night”. And they walked away from each other, going to drift off to a well awaited sleep.
