The story is not intended to make light of any issue but to make people think about what the future hold for humanity.

The year is 3011 and there is an Interplanetary Fair in New Earth City.  It is a gigantic fair and inhabitants from all over the planet are attending.  Around five hundred New Earthians are in the two thousand acre Interplanetary Fair and it is bustling with New Earthian music and and starship exhibits.

Buma is a five year old New Earthian boy and his parents have brought to the Interplanetary Fair to see all the new moonships.  They are from a city that is twenty thousand miles away but it only took them two hours to get to New Earth City.

Buma is very excited to see the beautiful new moonhips that can travel to New Moon Planet in less than one day.  With the moonships they have now, it takes them three days so this will save a lot of time when he has to travel to New Moon Planet for boarding school.  He looks forward to going to New Moon Planet next year in a new moonship as the one he is climbing onto that can hold five hundred passengers.

After seeing a few of the moonship exhibits, the family is feeling famished so they head off to a New Earthian outdoor cafeteria for their favorite dishes.  A robotic waiter brings out the food for the family and they are so hungry after walking around the Interplanetary Fair that they eat more than they thought they could.  Buma is very full after his lunch and needs to go to the restroom which is a little far from the outdoor cafeteria.

Buma who is now about six years old wants to show his parents how grown up he is so he tells them that he will go to the restroom by himself.  The parents talk it over and decide to let Buma go on his own since this seems to be a safe place.  As Buma is going to the restroom, it is hard for him to walk and see since so many New Earthians are bustling around.  Buma gets a little disorientated as he is jostled by the crowd but the restroom did not look too far from the outdoor cafeteria.  Due to the enormous crowds that were expected at the Interplanetary Fair, the developers had made the numerous cafeterias and restrooms look similar since it was temporary purposes.  Buma’s father was consultant to one of the big developers and got a big discount for the family trip to the Interplanetary Fair.
