Vampire story with a twist
Chapter: Awakening.
Celeste awoke in a dark cellar, the air was cold and smelt slightly like mold and rotting flesh. She slowly sat up and groaned as her head was throbbing, she started to squint her eyes as she tried to look around the room without moving and trying to make as little noise as she could. If there was someone there down there she didn’t want them hear her. She pushed herself up to her feet and started to walk forward, not hearing the tanking of the chains that are attached to her feet do to the ringing in her ears. She was stopped in mid step by the foot and had almost face planted into the ground.
The fall had scared her so badly that she had quickly crawled back the bed and curled up onto it as she quietly sobbed and wrapped the blanket around her trying to keep warm as her cloths were seem to be shredded. She laid there shaking, still scared and hungry; trying to keep calm. ”Hello? Is anyone out there?! Someone please help me!!” She shouted out at the top of her lungs, hoping that someone would hear her, not even thinking that her capture would hear her and come to silence her. Not hearing any sign of anyone on the outside or inside she sighed and whimpered softly and started rocking back and forth “It’s going to be ok, someone will come for me.” She kept telling herself.
She jumped and gasped loudly after hearing something unexpectedly fall onto the ground, her tired blue eyes darted around the room as she tried to find where it came from, after a few minutes of not finding anyone around; she shuddered at the thought of there being rats around that were anywhere near her. She sat up again and tried to look around for some kind of light to be able to see where she was or at least what was around her. She started to slowly feel around thinking that she might to be able to tell whats near and maybe try find something to eat or drink.
To her surprise she found some a glass of sort of liquid that was probably left for her to drink, she quickly gulped down her drink and laid back down hoping that the capturer would return and at least let her go to the bathroom. She didn’t want to think about having to squat down somewhere where she can’t see and falling onto some unknown substance.
