“Feed the Kitty” – a love story.

Cute little kitten
Meets big and burly bulldog
True love at first sight

You know the story: dog meets kitty; dog falls for kitty; dog gets kitty. I first saw this cartoon short on TV when I was a little girl, and instantly fell in love with it. Originally released theatrically on February 2, 1952(!!), it’s about a bulldog named Marc Antony and Pussyfoot, the little kitten that steals his heart. Just goes to show you that a dog can be smitten with a kitten, and that I will always be a little girl at heart. Ah, the memories!

Bless your heart. I hadn’t seen a Looney Toons in years. That was fun.

    What memories are made of!

I grew up watching the Looney Tunes every morning on the Ray Rayner show, on WGN TV, Channel 9 out of Chicago back in the 1960s/1970s. These cartoons were a big part of my adolescence and entertainment. I always have a soft spot for anyone who writes about them.

    Nicely done…as always.
