I had just got off work and changed quickly, I do not know why but I wanted to go to a watering hole.  See I am a Marine and sometimes the day calls you to get out of town.  I had many problems to overcome, since I did not have a dollar to call my own.  Since I had joined I had no real reason to buy a car, do I did not have one.  I had spent most of my money partying last weekend.  Time for a mission I thought to myself, fist I had to get some money.  This would be an easy task, every Marine parties with his brothers usually and we all pay for each other.  I desperately went from barracks room to barracks room looking for some money to score.  I went through to barracks which consisted of about twenty to thirty Marines and struck out.  So I had to adventure further, it took me about forty five guys before I got a mere twenty.  That would have to do, now to score a ride.  Most guys with cars had already split, the day must have been ruff for all of us.  It was getting dark and I was fearful I might have to walk a mere four miles to the nearest bar.  On my war back to room one of the guys I had made friends with was going out to see his girl which meant I had a chance. He said he would give me a ride, mission accomplished.

     I entered the bar and scanned the room to find an older women sitting at the bar.  I walked over very casual and sat down and made sure there was empty bar stool between us.  I ordered my beer and looked around, there was a hockey game on the TV.  I looked over at her and asked her, have you ever ice skated she looked at me and said “ice skated I am from the Bronx of course I have ice skated.  Well I have not I am from PA it gets just as cold you know.  She had shoulder length black hair, pretty round eyes, and she was had a little wait, just the way I like my women.  She was kinda sassy I liked this and wanted to talk more to her to find out about her. I drained my first beer, it was one of the best beers I ever had.  The bar was beginning to get crowded so I sat on the bar stool next to her.  I finished my beer and asked her to watch my beer and stepped out to have a smoke.  Two women came out the bar and were flirting with me, I tried to brush them off when the lady I was sitting with came out, at that point one of the the girls grabbed me a kissed me.  Great I thought things were going so well.  I went back into the bar to find she was sitting there waiting for me.  Too be continued.
