This little ditty I just tried my hand at something different. Gave my explanation of what I thought the differences was when people used the word…LOVE.
Love…a beautiful word.
In Love…a different meaning
Obsession…a red flag
When one speaks the word Love to you…I Love you…Love always…Love. It is used in a universal text. You tell your mom and dad, your sister or brother, your children and friends that you Love them. That means you care for their happiness, their well being, their person. When they cry, you lend a shoulder. When you hear a joke, you tell it because you want them to share in your laughter. When they get hurt, you comfort them to ease the pain all because you love them. You love them just because. It’s unconditional.
When you are In Love…each time you think of that special someone, your spirit smiles. When you hear their voice, your heart fills with joy. When you look into each others eyes, there is a comforting warmth that envelopes your body. No matter how far away they are from you, you feel every being of their presence. It’s comfortable, safe and secure.
No, you are not obsessed, because the spirit of both parties is united. You are in love. An obsession is different and can be harmful because many times that twisted love is unknowing or not accepted by one party and seems so clear to the other, so don’t get it confused.
Someone who wants to know every move you make, hear every breath you take, is not always in love with you, but at times, more than often, is obsessed with your presence. Someone who says they can’t live with out you or would die if you were not with them should be questioned. How did they manage before they met you? Don’t fall for the prey on words. You may regret every moment later.
