An answer to the Blushing Bride, Artist challenge. This is a tragic love story.

The next morning at 6:00 am I had my secretary scrambling to find me the pieces I needed for my vision.  I hadn’t shared it with Laurie yet but I was sure she would like it.  I had a hairdresser scheduled for 6:15 and Laurie was drinking tea and eating a biscuit.   The hairdresser arrived on time and my secretary returned from the florist with the baby’s breath and tiny daisies I had requested.  I had the hair dresser construct a dainty flower crown and weave it into Laurie’s hair.  Her curls hung delightfully just teasing the tops of her breasts and the little flowers gave her the look of a princess about to be married in a garden.  I had her hold the bouquet slightly to the right allowing me to sculpt her belly and left abs in full view and give the impression the flowers were leaning towards the imaginary groom.  We had just perfected the pose when her fiancée walked in the door.  “Oh excuse me!”  He said, When I turned I saw the look of love in his eyes.   “You are so beautiful honey, I did not expect you to be so, naked.  I wish I could capture this moment forever.”  He said slowly walking towards her entranced by her glow.  I turned to watch the blushing bride stand a little taller and give me the smile I would carve forever into stone.

If I were not happily married, I would switch my skills from painting to sculpting (I have painted my wife naked before)

Brad, that was awesome! Very touching…. I could imagine each piece of it, the emotions that must have played. Exquisite.

This wasn’t a submission, it was a novel. This was a very well written and touching piece of work Brad. I should have been a aritst. All this nudity that they are exposed to is mind bogging. Well done friend.

Please do not encourage my husband to sculpt me naked.. he is slow enough painting as it is.. and I think its intentional (and I get cold easy)

    great story.
