I attended my daughters wedding this past weekend in Watkins Glen, NY. We had beautiful weather, the wedding and reception had elegance and Love.

As I sat in the church listening, I looked around and all I could see was Love. Friends and Family crying tears of joy and smiling. So much Love in one little space. Something I would not change for the entire universe.

As I watched my Daughter and her new Husband look into each other’s eyes, I saw nothing but love. What a perfect couple looking into each others eyes with more Love than I have seen in years.

Then I noticed the Love in everyone’s eyes, not only the Bride and Groom. We all have it inside of us, but like to use a shield to protect us and block out alot of Love.

I dont know if anyone else in the world has noticed, but Love gets you through everything. Love helps you through your bad days and helps you climb those mountains of life.

If you allow Love in, you actually get a bonus by getting support! It is like a buy one get one free that so many of us miss.

The Love that was shown to me at my Daughter’s wedding has re-opened my eyes to life! My Friends and Family supported me through this entire Wedding process and then stood by me the day of the festivities offering help not matter what the job was.

The love that surrounds me by my longest friends overwhelms me. They will never know how thankful I am for their Love and support through the years. They will never know how much they have helped me climb my mountains of life and I will always be there to repay them no matter what.

The Love in my Family warms my heart. To see my Parents, Aunts, Uncle’s and Cousins and Siblings hugging and laughing was a gift in itself. To be able to have them all together for a day, to remember exactly what the word Family is all about. My Family is awesome and I think them for their hugs, tears, laughter, support and of course, Love! I am so lucky to have such a dedicated set of Family and Friends.

If you have not talked to your Family lately, dont regret it. Pick up the phone, get in your car, send a text, send an email, do something. No matter how far or close your Family lives to you, stay together. Stay connected. Stay dedicated…..You will make it through your journey of life on a better path with these things.
