This story is about a coma patient waking up and what he does.

We find our main character waking from a coma in a hospital room number 313.  As he is waking up a very pretty nurse enters his room.  She is petite with glistening red hair and sweet voice.  She asks the man in the bed “oh, hello, you have finally woken up!”  She continues, “Hun, I need to ask a few questions.  What is your name?”

The man in the bed, still groggy from the coma is stunned by her beauty. He stutters and says, “uh, uh, I don’t really know my name to tell you the truth” blushing a bright shade of pink.  The red head replies, “ oh well we have a problem here.  I’ll go get the doctor”.

After she leaves he gazes around the room and rests his eyes on a medicine cooling cabinet made by Kenmore.  So he thinks that is his name and blurts out so half of the hospital can hear him, “I know my name!!!”  The nurse rushes in and says, “Sir, what’s the emergency??” in a frantic voice.  “I know my name!!”  She asks, “What is it?”  “It is K-E-N-M-O-R-E”.  “So your name IS Kenmore?”  “Yes, that is it!” he replies happily.

The nurse continues to ask simple questions and the man looks around the room to find the answer with the number or name that satisfies her question.

One half an hour later we find Kenmore outside the hospital on the sidewalk in somewhat trance like state…amazed at all the pretty colors of L.A.  The billboard titled Lucky Day Casino, win a life time of fun, caught is eye.  The big three leaf clover on the billboard caught his attention.  “I wish I had some money” and then jams his hand into his pocket and feels a thick piece of paper.  He grabs the paper between his first and second finger and pulls it out of his pocket.  It is a one hundred dollar bill.  “Hey, it is my Lucky Day.  I should go to the casino, this must be a sign”.  Louder than before he blurts out “Its my lucky day!”  People turned and stared.  He puts his thumb out to hitch hike to the casino.
