Praise The LORD & Only True Savior Jesus Christ!  In the Spring of 2003 after one of the worst blizzards in the Washington DC’s metropolitan area’s history, James Mc Morris II (maCmoses – me and Christ moving obstacles so everyone sees), began to lose some of his feeling in his lower extremities.  His legs became slightly numb, and heavy.  He began to instantly stumble around the house and lose his balance.  It was clear that something was not right.

“Because of my faith in Jesus, I didn’t worry too much”, exclaims the 35 year old entrepreneur.  “I trusted Christ and began to seek medical attention”.  After a battery of tests, doctors concluded that maCmoses had a condition entitled ‘Transverse Mylletis’, which they described as inflammation of the spinal collumn.  They explained that he would probably walk again, but should always expect some risidual gait difficulty.    maCmoses never officially agreed with the doctor’s prognosis, and was determined to seek Christ with all his ability, believing for his total healing.

One year after his diagnosis, maCmoses began to produce positive and inspirational Christian Hip Hop music.  He has been utilizing the artform of rap as long as he can remember, but he had never actually produced his ownmusic.  maCmoses explains “In the past, I relied on other individuals to give me the instrumentation for my lyrics.  Because of the fact that I was basically in one place for several years, I saw this as an opportunity to be productive, and let the world know that with Jesus Christ on your side, there are no limitations”!  He commissioned his mom to purchase him an inexpensive older-model sampling workstation and began construction of his debut opus ‘maCmoses: A New Path (2005 – JESUS CHRIST TRU VINE Entertainment – www.jesuschristtvent.com).  The production of this project was not a simple task, for maCmoses knew he would need to seek an outside recording studio to make the project the quality of music he envisioned.  He began searching for wheelchair accessible studios in the Washington, DC area with little success.  Eventually he located Urban Intalek Studios (www.urban-intalek.com), and gave them a call.
