A man aged 37 died in Sao Paulo to fall by a third-floor window while celebrating a goal a game of the penultimate round of the Brazilian Championship soccer, local media reported Saturday, according to EFE.

The victim, a waiter by profession, went on television Sunday’s game Goias and Sao Paulo, which ended 4-2, when after one of the goals started jumping on a couch, lost his balance and fell through the window, located some eight meters above the ground, according to the G1 news portal.

That result fell to the Sao Paulo’s lead in the tournament to post four with just one day for the end of the championship. 
 According to health authorities, the man was taken by ambulance to an emergency because of the zone of Campo Limpo, but serious injuries had ended his life. Authorities reported no fan which team was the unfortunate lover.
