This is an article about a man who was beaten horribly in a hospital waiting room, and no one helped him.
Joaquin Rivera died before seeing a nurse at Atria Health’s Frankford. Joaquin cruel end was captured on security videotape, similar to the June 2008 death of Esmin Green, who died on a hospital floor as because people Kings County Hospital Center in Brooklyn ignored her. Joaquin had walked to the Northeast Philadelphia hospital from his home a few blocks away after pain started shooting down his right side. He registered in at 10:45 p.m., took a seat, and starting talking with two men and a woman nearby. Security video later showed one of the men stealing Joaquin’s watch and passing it to the other man. The second suspect is admitted into the office by the doctors, and a security guard asks his sleeping companions to leave. Later Joaquin is found dead. The three suspects were described as homeless drug addicts. Police later arrested one of them at the hospital and are searching for the others. Police hope to soon find the missing suspects. The one found suspect remains in custody, and the public defender’s office representing him declined any comments. It is suggested that Joaquin died of hypertension which is very high blood pressure. Joaquin has inspired many people and his death is a tragedy to everyone.
