Manny and I were good friends we lived in Anchorage Alaska. we became partners in the automotive resale business(repairing clunkers for resale). On different occasions,we would get into mishaps. This time we were out, with another friend, to see a woman about a car purchase, everything was going fine,Manny had one hand on the cars open hood, his head turned away, talking to George.I was underneath inspecting the engine compartment.Suddenly!Manny slammed the hood down on top of me, I yelled , not remembering that I was still underneath HE freaked out Mark!Mark!you ok, oh man. I would be alright.. another time… we were in our back parking lot, my cars battery had died, it was in the dead of winter, the temperature was about zero degree’s.I asked Manny to help, he was quick to offer assistance, he went out, got into his car, and drove over to mine. He lined up nose to nose, I already had my cars hood up , when he stopped I opened his car hood up. meanwhile…Manny turned up his latin music,, no problem, as he was sitting in the drivers seat, I held out my hand, to the side of his view, and motioned him to come a little closer.I was standing in front of both cars,,DUH, well he pulled forward and I motioned for him to stop, no response, then I yelled stop, over the music, he heard me, but it was too late, he had pinned my legs between the two cars bumpers. I wasn’t in pain, however I was yelling at him to back up, he couldn’t hear me because of the music, he got out of his car and danced his way to the front. Once he saw what was going on he freaked out, oh my God! then he quickly stepped back to move his car, got out, and came up front again, asking me in a frantic voice are you alright Mark! yes I am ok Manny. Time passes, and I find myself with my friend, to go with him to tow a car home, of course this car was in the homeowners back yard about 50 feet from the road, the wheels were under about a foot of snow. he backed his car up the driveway, I had a big rope, I motioned for him to stop he did. together we tied off both cars, I got into the disabled one I motioned him to pull forward easy, the rope tightened, then he tried to pull the car out of the snow, his rear tires started to spin.Next we decided that I would put the car in nuteral and push the back end of his car to try to break the other one free. I was in position,I yelled go
