A short/condensed children’s story.

Marvin and His parents moved to England form New york when he was ten, because his dad took a high paying job in Devon. Marvin was wondering what life would be like, and if he would fit in. But he wasn’t bothered about that after he saw the massive garden, and the maze at the end of it. Marvin thought that everyone would want to come to his house just to try to get through the maze. He wanted to get through it before the summer was out though, so he knew how to get to the end before anyone else.

The second day Marvin was there his parents let him go out, and play. So he ran to the maze, and tried to get ot the end. But he kept coming to dead ends. Every dead end he came across a mysterious creature. The first dead end Marvin found a fairy. The Fairy’s name is Aralea. Aralea said to Marvin,"Patience my friend, and you will find the end."

The next day Marvin came to a second dead end, where a troll stood. The trolls name is Hank. Hank said to Marvin,”A clear mind will get you to the end.” Frustrated Marvin walked back home, but remembered what the fairy, and troll said to him, and he cleared his mind ready for the next day.

But the next day Marvin had to go to Church so he couldn’t go out until Monday. Marvin was so pleased he moved in the summer, because the maze gave him something to do while his parents where sorting things out to make their new house their own. He just wished he could be in the maze instead of Church, but he liked Church although the maze was making his mind to curious.

Monday came, and Marvin went out to the maze. He had a good memory so he didn’t ever forget which ways he had been already. But again he came to a dead end. But this time there was no mysterious creature. But then as he turned a giant eagle landed. The eagle told him,”look at the maze in a different view point.”The eagle flew off, and Marvin was thinking how he could look at the maze in a different way!

He came back out of the maze, and looked around for a while. He saw that one of the windows on the house looked over the maze, but he would have to use a pair of binoculars to see the maze properly. Marvin went to ask his dad if he or his mum had any. But they didn’t. So he asked his dad if he could use his pocket money yo buy some, and his dad said yes. So the next day Marvin, and his dad went off to buy some.
