This is a one-paged summary of this book I made.

MAXIMUM RIDE: SCHOOL’S OUT FOREVER

Six mutant-freaks are flying to Washington, DC from New York, NY. Their names are: Maximum Ride, Fang, Iggy, Nudge, Angel, and Gazzy. Max is the leader of the flock; they are called a flock because they have wings due to experiments done on them; she has a “voice” in her head that sometimes helps her in situations. Fang is the same age as Max; he is dark and mysterious. Iggy is blind, but can “see” with his ears and hands; he can also detect what type of condition a person is in by touching him; has a vivid memory. Nudge is talkative; she has the power to touch something and see the past experiences. Angel is related to Gazzy, they are sister and brother; she can read and take-over someone’s mind. Gazzy has the amazing ability to imitate anyone’s voice to make it sound exactly like that person.

As the flock is traveling to DC to try to find their parents they were taken away from as babies, they stumble across Erasers, FLYING. Note: Erasers are human-wolf breed creatures; they appear usually as a male super model, but have now been spotted as female also. They morph and can take out almost anyone, but the flock. After a short, yet amusing, battle the flock wins. Fang is the only one hurt and has a gaping side wound. They only way to save him was to get outside help. When they arrive to the E.R. they find out about Fang having wings. After all the confirming and commotion, Fang was bandaged up and resting to recover. The FBI comes in to talk to the flock and want to help them to see if they can stop human experimenting; the flock doesn’t cooperative. Then Anne, the head of the FBI, shows up. She makes an agreement with Max and the flock decides to go live with her for a while. Her house is like a mansion; up on a hill, and has a pond (they swim in) in the back.

After a few weeks of living there, Anne enrolls the flock in school; the real one. The flock is trying to blend in and socializing pretty well. Iggy and Gazzy had been getting into trouble, setting off stink bomb. They (Iggy and Gazzy) decide to explore the school and find files of an old Incurable Institute that was at the school two years ago, but the school proclaims they’ve been there since 1985. In addition to all this, the flock is trying to crack the code to see where they’re parents live. All they have is a bunch of numbers and a bunch of possibilities. They have tried map coordinates, which led them to a picture of Gazzy as a mere baby. Plus, they have tried looking them up in a bible for an exact word and then puzzling it together, but no luck.
