Leadership.
Showing the Way
What makes a leader? Some may believe a leader is one who is very knowledgeable, or shows others how to be successful, or leads by example. I believe a good leader has to have at least one of these qualities, but the best leader possesses all of them. The best leader has the knowledge to make good decisions, acts upon those decisions appropriately, and can also guide people along the path of success.
I lead by example. I am in youth leadership in my community. I have worked hard to be a part of the scholarship program. It highlights my involvement with the community and the leadership duties I have taken for it. My academics are also high which, in my opinion, shows a leader. I can handle and enjoy the responsibilities of my school work and extracurricular activities.
My personal care is my best leadership quality. My job at the Tipton Lakes Athletic Club gives me an excellent opportunity to exert that care. In the Kids Court l am usually responsible for ten kids at a time. My goal is to get as many of the kids to join group games or activities. As a leader, I strengthen my bonds with each individual child by having personalized conversation. This promotes responsibility in each child and allows mutual growth.
Overall, I think of myself as a strong leader. I am determined to do well in every aspect of my life, and I hope that my drive and passion for my activities inspires people to follow in my footsteps.
