This is my story…

As a young mother who never knows about kinds of diseases that can happen to children I was so confuse when I faced the truth that my beloved daughter got cerebral palsy. I’ve tried all kinds of therapy for my daughter but she’s not even better. Lately one of my neighbors told me about a new method which combines physiotherapy and neuro structure. With my last hope I tried this new therapy and the result is so amazing.

This therapy looks so extreme at the first time and it makes me want to cry every time I accompany my daughter to do her therapy. But then my dauhgter is getting better from her motoric system and immune system and it makes my fear all gone. There are some tools that uses for the therapy and it looks so scary but actually it is safe for children. This kind of therapy becomes so popular today and I find this therapy center’s getting crowded and crowded.

My daughter came to the therapy center with the ability of nothing and now she can sit herself. She also had sucking problem and should use the feeding tube to eat but now she can eat without the feeding tube. Even though she cannot walk yet I’m sure she will be able to do it someday. Since my daughter got a better immune system, her therapist told her to do the hydro therapy and today, at her almost two years old, she can stand up even it’s still not perfect.

I was so worry about my daughter’s future but today I feel free from worry ‘cause I know she can get a better future even it won’t be the same with normal children.

I will be so confused and sad if she got cough and flu because she cannot breathe easy and she can’t even make the mucus out. But then the therapist teach me about postural drainage, a methods to make the mucus out without medicine and they also told me not too use any medicine. So now, every time my daughter got the cough or flu, I will only cure it with nebulizer and postural drainage.

I’m so happy with her development and today she still consumes her brain’s supplements and also immune supplements. Since I know about this kind of therapy and I can learn to treat my CP daughter, there is no worry inside me.
