There once lived a mystical fish in a pond. She had many children and she loved them very much.

Around the same time, there lived a very nasty young girl who liked to torture little creatures. Her name is SaraNoyance. She would find insects and pull their wings off and watch them struggle (since the insects would no longer be able to fly). She also shaved furs from little animals and pull feathers from small birds.

All the creatures would keep a distance from her. Soon, she could not find any more animals to torture so she set out to find more. Finally, she came upon the pond. She saw the small fishes in it and tried to throw pebbles at them but the fishes managed to swim out of harms way.

Saranoyance went into the water after the baby fishes and managed to catch one of them. She then started plugging at the fins. The baby fish cried in pain. The mother heard her and came just in time to see her favorite baby dying. The mother became very furious and uttered a spell.

Suddenly, Saranoyance no longer have legs but fins. She could no longer return to land for she has become the first mermaid.

Hey that story gave me goose bumps!! That horrid girl would have grown up to be a serial killer and if I were the mommy fish I wouldn’t have kept her in my pond but turned her into a fish and chucked her out on dry land!!

Great write by you but that little girl got my back up!

I agree – little Sara deserved much more “comeuppance”. She should have had to stand in the shoes of every anmal she ever did harm.

I want Sara to face a whale boat in your next story about her. Make her learn from her mistakes. Maybe in the end, she can come back as a PETA or Greenpeace girl, after many adventures as a persecuted and capture mermaid.
