The last thing I remember was falling through a bottomless pit and then waking up in front of a castle. I was now about to have my head chopped off. Here is all how it started. I was cleaning out my room and I pulled out an old book that was left behind by the people who used to live before we moved over here 5 years ago. As soon as I pulled it I heard a loud noise of shifting gears and the bookcase slid open.

As it opened I saw a mysterious light coming from inside. I cautiously stepped in and I saw pool with a purple light coming from it. I jumped in and now I’m here. It was dark but I saw I was standing in front of a castle. I pulled the odd looking doorknob and stepped inside and the next thing I heard was the sound of sword being sheathed.

There were 4 guards surrounding me with swords pointed at my neck. They ordered me to put my hands up. Instead I ran as fast as I could. They were caught by surprise and gave me a head start. I ran as fast as I could and I heard a alarm type of noise. I could here guards running down the hallways looking for me. I pulled open 2 huge doors leading in to the Banquet Hall. I quickly closed the door and hid under the table. Soon after a long hour the noise settled down. I crawled out from under the table and opened the door and saw an odd looking old man dressed in blue robes with stars. I started to run but then he pointed his finger at me and I was paralyzed. Then I was moving across the ground and I ran straight in to the stone wall and blacked out.

The next thing I knew was I was staring at a jail guard saying I would be executed for trespassing in 1 hour. After many attempts of trying to escape I saw a king and that strange old man walking by talking. I eavesdropped on the and heard ‘How did this man get here”. He must’ve came from the portal but how was he teleported here instead where the only portal in this land is.

I decided to escape. After many more failed attempts I finally succeeded in escaping. I grabbed a little food from the little plate the guard had given me. I found some rope and climbed to the highest tower. I tied the rope through a hole in the wall and climbed down to the bridge and set out on my journey to get home.
