What happens when you forget everything?

“Who the hell are you and what do you want?” I asked bluntly, the man looked way too suspicious to trust. “I work for someone who knows you,” he sounded like one of those mysterious guys on the mystery shows that I had been watching. Ever since I regained consciousness, I had been watching those shows so that, if they’d let me out someday, I might be able to figure out what happened. “he told me to ask you what you remember.” “Why do you want to know?”

“I’ve told you already, my boss told me to obtain this information.” “Why?” I sat up as quickly as I could and leaned towards him. “Is he the one who did this to me?” he didn’t move, just continued to wait for an answer from me. “Answer me, damn it!!”

He stood up and walked towards the door. “Hey!” I yelled at him, getting off my bed and starting toward him. My ankle immediately gave out underneath me and I was on the floor before I knew it. The man stopped only to smirk and then leave, closing the door behind him.

I wanted to go after him and find out who he was working for. I wanted to put an end to this whole case. But all I could do was lay there and hope that a nurse would come and help me back onto my bed before I became too uncomfortable.
