Part 2: http://authspot.com/short-stories/minecraft-story-pt-two-zombies/
As Joseph neared the deadly looking cave near the forest, he slowed down and tried not to think about what would happen to him. He figured he was going to be in some rough combat training, so he stalled as much as he could before going inside.
“HURRY UP AND STOP WASTING TIME! We haven’t the time for foolishness!” rushed the trainer.
Instead of Joseph being in rough combat training, he was in for a survival course. The first thing they taught him was EXTREMELY painful.
“Ok, my name is Kyle, and we have a lot to cover in two hours. Meaning, playing around is not allowed. Now go over to that tree and punch it until you get wood,” Kyle ordered.
“What?! How? My hands will hurt,” Joseph retaliated.
“I will demonstrate,” Kyle showed he that he could punch trees down with his barehands. “It will get easier from here on out, but just do as I say.”
Joseph punched the tree really hard, but he couldn’t get any wood out of it. He tried kicking it, and got a little wood.
“Hmm, not what I wanted but, satisfying enough. How many pieces do you have?” asked Kyle.
“Only one,” Joseph said.
“Go get 3 more pieces, and this time, PUNCH, NOT kick,” Kyle ordered.
Joseph punched as hard as he could, and got another piece, but his hands were covered with blood. He punched harder until the tree had no more wood. He returned to Kyle and showed him that he had punched three logs down.
“Good, now it gets easier here. Make a workbench, you know how to?” Kyle said.
“Not really,” Joseph was expecting Kyle to yell, but he just showed him how to make a workbench, and some useful tools.
“Ok, you’ve got tools and weapons, but you don’t know how to explore safely,” Kyle said.
Kyle led Joseph to the deadly looking cave that Joseph feared going into.
