Ever witnessed God’s miracles in action? Before and during my early walk with Jesus Christ I was very skeptical about miracles. I had heard so many stories of His miracles and also heard a lot from TBN but did not really believe in them. God has worked hard on Lizette (my wife) and I so that we could see His miracles first hand. A few years ago before I got saved I was reading books on wealth creation and all of these books spoke about tithing. I do not think they were all specifically written by Christians however the principle of giving was rammed home in no uncertain terms. At the time I had just come from a bankruptcy and my heart was extremely hard on the subject of giving. My attitude was I cannot give what I do not have. A few years later I got saved and this “ugly” word tithe cropped up again. I remember going to church and begrudgingly giving R2 to God, later that day I received R20! The next time I gave R20 and received R200 from an unexpected sale. A while later I gave my last R6.70, I had no money whatsoever and I had barely gotten out of church and someone gave me R67! I started to believe that there was merit to this tithing deal. I started to search for scriptures on tithing. I am a person that responds to the carrot rather than the stick so I avoided all the curses on those who do not tithe. My favorite scripture on tithing is found in Malachi 3:10.

Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

God has blessed us accordingly he gave us R3000 out of the blue to pay our rent, we received R1500 supernaturally to pay our phone bill. A few weeks ago we were down to our last R1.10 and we gave it to God. That whole next week we were provided food by God supernaturally! God blessed us in a mighty way. On Sunday we were in church and an usher ran up to Lizette and gave her a envelope and whispered “it is a blessing” When we got to the car we found R500 in the envelope. The day before a business associate to whom I owe R45 000 wiped the debt clean! These are just a few areas in which God has honoured His word with us, we have faithfully bought our tithes to the store house and He has faithfully blessed us beyond measure.

We are blessed to be able to share this message with you so that you can also tithe and reap the benefits of God’s blessings. He is no respecter of persons so if He blesses us, he will bless you.
