Mattel, a leading toy company, launched in 2010 another doll collection and named it Monster High Dolls Collection. This collection of dolls is completely distinct from any other dolls that appeared on the market ever before. The characters of the dolls were inspired by the most horrific monsters ever, like Dracula, Frankenstein and Wolfman. 

These dolls were depicted as a living relatives of these monsters. These dolls are teenage children of famous monsters and each one has their own freaky flaw that they have to deal with. Draculaura, daughter of Dracula; Laguna Blue, daughter of the Sea Monster; Clawdeen Wolf, daughter of the Werewolf; Frankie Stein, daughter of Frankenstein; and Cleo De Nile, daughter of the mummy, and Deuce Gorgon, son of Medusa, and many others like Jackson Jekyll and Holt Hyde. These are sold as a set. Each doll displays features that connect him or her to the monster parent. Frankie Stein has stitches, Clawdeen Wolf sprouts fangs and ears, and Laguna Blue is adorned with fins. Watzit is as weird as Frankie herself is weird. Watzit is made up of all different animal parts. He has been stitched together like her with all the best bits of household pets.

Monster High Draculaura doll is the teenage daughter of Dracula. Contrary to Frankie Stein who is so young, Draculaura is 1599 years old; however she still looks amazing. As any vampire, Draculaura cannot stand the sun and has to use her umbrella to walk in the sun. Another curious thing about her is that her skin is invisible, thanks to her vampire blood, and that is why she cannot see her reflection in a mirror. Draculaura cannot stand even saying the word BLOOD, because she is ‘hemophobic’. She comes in a set with her pet bat named Count Fabulous who is dressed in a pink jumper and has a large bow. She has pale pink skin, protruding fangs. She also has pointed elf-like ears. We can describe her as a lover of old fashion because she wears Victorian era clothing. She is known to be poetic and she loves creative writing.
