A list of my strangest, creepiest and most random dreams… to comfort those people who think their brainwaves are out of tune (which they probably are).

Okay, so we all have that occasional what the $@#%? when we wake up from those UNIQUE dreams.  You start to think if the doctor was right, you ARE going crazy… Well here’s my short list of only a few of the weirdest dreams of which I can remember.

     Well start out simple…

“Sam, wanna…………,” something related to me having to go into the basement.  “Ya sure,” I proceed.  As I walk down the stairs, I flip the switch and find that many gutted, mutilated and dismembered corpses are hung from strings from the ceiling.  As I walk through the forest of bodily fluids and organs, I cannot recall feeling fear, disgust, nervousness, or any emotion for that matter.  Yes this was probably intended to be a nightmare…. seems like the evil spirits lucked out this time.  So don’t ask why I didn’t wake up sweating profusely and heart beating rapidly, I DON’T KNOW.

     Next…

I remember watching out over the vast blue waves of the ocean on a large cruise ship.  Okay, this is enjoyable.  Next moment, I’m looking down at some spectators along a murky, brown river.  Apparently I was flying in a bicycle with the pedals attached to a rotor blade rather than wheels.  Of course it breaks and I plummet into the river, where I become the meal of multiple crocodile-shark hybrids.  As I look down to see my chest being torn open and my intestines (excuse the detail) being yanked around, like an angry 5-year-old with a tangled kite string, I for some reason feel no pain and do not react to this obviously disturbing situation.  Not only do I skip in and out of random settings, all of my nightmarish dreams never seem to be… well nightmares.

     And of course…

Walking through fog for approximately 8 hours straight, no landmarks, no noise (except my footsteps on wet grass), no events, no other people, no monsters.  Somehow this had me creeped out and i started getting really nervous and anxious, yes apparently getting my guts ripped out is calming.  So to all those crazy people out there, don’t worry, you’re not alone.

I just wanted to thank the absence of a dream catcher, what would wouldn’t I do without with you?
