Once upon a time, there was a mouse named Peter. Peter was a tiny little mouse with brown fur and black beady eyes.

Peter lived in a pet store. He lived in a glass fishtank, with wood shavings on the floor of the tank, a dish for his food which were sunflower seeds and plenty of water to drink in a small mouse sized bowl  and a habitrail that he often played on.

Being the only mouse the tank, Peter was bored with his life, unhappy and very lonely.

All Peter did was eat and sleep and play on his habitrail day and night. Often he would wish that he could get out of that small fish tank and explore the world. If only if only if only. He had lived in his fish tank all his unhappy life.

One day, he was running on his habitrail. He  squeaked over and over again, “I wish I could see the world. I wish I could see the world. I wish I could see the world!” He ran on his habitrail faster and faster and faster!

All of a sudden, right before his beady eyes, a mouse popped out of nowhere like magic. It was a female mouse and Peter found this mouse to be the most beautiful mouse he ever saw. She was wearing a light blue gown, which was sparkling like diamonds. She had a beautiful crown on her head, that was made of the prettiest color gold and in her right paw, she held a gold magic wand that glimmered. She stood on her hind legs.

Peter’s eyes got bigger and bigger. He scratched his right ear to see if this was a dream. But it wasn’t.  There was silence for a few minutes, then she spoke in a high squeaky voice. “Hi! My name is Leah the Mouse Goddess. I see that you are unhappy.” “How do you know?” Squeaked Peter. He was curious.   ”I am a goddess. I know everything.” Squeaked Leah. She smiled at Peter. Peter smiled back. He was curious about what would happen next. He was amazed about this goddess who stood before him. What a day this is! He thought.
