It was 7:00 AM on a Sunday morning when Drozin received a phone call.  He was eating breakfast in the kitchen with his cat Mrown and watching “ordinary” 3-D TV. 

“Ramshief Hoorganvisor is calling you,” said the computerized answering machine with a pleasant female voice. 

“I’ll take the call,” said Drozin as he lowered the sound on his TV.

“Hey, Drozin.  How would you like to do a TV commercial as Mr. Amazing?”

“For what?”

“What is your favorite beverage?”

“You mean I will do a commercial for Dr. Pepper?  How did you pull that off?”

“I know someone who works for an advertising firm on Madison Avenue.  One of his clients is Dr. Pepper.  They are looking for a unique spokesman for the soda and I told them you like it a lot.  They want you to be in Plano, Texas tomorrow morning to meet with the corporate people.  They may think of a way to use you in commercials.”

“I guess I can be away from the office for a few days.  I have stockpiled plenty of novels and Joe and Kent can run the place pretty well.  If they really need me, I can be back immediately.  Thank God they know who I am now so that I don’t need to split myself to be in two places at the same time.  Just send the coordinates here and I’ll program them into the teleportation system.  All I’ll need is a transporter tag since Plano will be my only destination.”

That afternoon after church, Drozin contacted Joe and Kent and told them they would have to make sure the office didn’t fall apart with him gone again for a few days.  After a good night’s sleep, Drozin transported to Texas to meet with the executives in the corporate headquarters. 

The CEO shook Drozin’s hand in the conference room as the photographer took their picture for publicity.  The other executives also got their picture taken with him just to brag that they were with a superhero.  The CEO praised Drozin for his work in New York City and looked forward to having Dr. Pepper represented by him. 

At the podium the CEO said, “I’ve heard so many good things about you that when I heard you love Dr. Pepper I thought, ‘He really needs to promote the most unique taste in the world of beverages.’  Mr. Amazing, I’m proud to have you on the Dr. Pepper team.”
