Mr. Amazing helps out the little boy who saw him vibrate into a subway car the second day he was in this dimension.

The father and son came to the door. The mother said, “Steven, this is Mr. Amazing.  He says our son is a bully.  Did you know this?”

“I heard rumors.  But I didn’t want to believe them.  Is this true, Craig?”

“No Dad.  Kids are just jealous of me because you’re rich and I have some of the latest devices they like and want.”

“That is true,” said Drozin.  “But he didn’t beat up poor Hank Shawn because Hank wanted his I-pod.”

Both parents looked at their son accusingly.  “Is this true?” asked his father.

“No Dad.”

“And what about Linda Martin you said looked like a monkey?  She cried her eyes out because you then acted like a monkey in front of her and the other kids.  You should be ashamed of yourself.”

The parents looked at their son with daggers coming out of their eyes.  He shook his head and kept saying no.

“He is indeed like his dad.  You used to lie to your parents when you were his age and you were a bully too.”

The man became red-faced because it was indeed true.

“If I hear any more reports of my son being a bully, I may be forced to remove him from school and put him in the military academy I have warned him I may do.  Would you like that?” he asked his son.

“No Dad.”

“Well then, straighten up or I will have no choice but to do that.  Got that?”

“Yeah Dad.  I got that.”

“You better have.  Now go to your room.”

After the boy left, the father said, “Thanks for coming her, Mr. Amazing.  And thank-you, Mike, for coming here to confront my son.  You were brave because if I didn’t believe Mr. Amazing, you might be in for a beating tomorrow in school.”

“I got in trouble a short while back for reading minds.  But that was all cleared up.  Sometimes I wish more people could read minds.”

“So do I,” said his wife.  “Are there any secrets you’re not sharing with me?”

The man glanced at Drozin before looking back at his wife and saying, “Some things have to remain secret.  But I’m faithful to you and always will be.”

“Is this true, Mr. Amazing?” asked the wife.

“He is telling the truth.  He loves you very much.”

“Thank-you,” said the husband.

“Don’t thank me.  I admire you for your fidelity.  I guess my work here is done.  It was good to meet you folks.  Maybe I’ll see you again.”

Everyone shook hands before Drozin, Matt, and Mike walked back to the townhouse.  Before the father and son entered the townhouse, Drozin told Mike, “Go after your dreams and don’t let anyone stand in your way.  And when you meet a bully, confront him.  Most will back off.  But don’t push it.  If you embarrass many people, they will strike back.  So use some wisdom and in time, everything will work out.   Count on it.”

“Thank-you, Mr. Amazing.”

“If I’m at the convention or you see Drake Cambell, ask him for the first issue of the adventures about me.  I know you’ll like it.”

The boy gave Drozin a big hug before the superhero flipped open his transporter and transported back to his house.   It was a meeting neither Drozin or Mike would forget.

ooh, I like where the story is going. I would think it would be a fun story to read to the little ones.

    Keep at it!
