Mr. Amazing stops an attempt to destroy the Lincoln and Holland Tunnels.

With Homeland Security watching the tunnels and bridges like a hawk, terrorists couldn’t plant firecrackers, let alone bombs in the tunnels or on the bridges.  Anything that looked suspicious was removed or destroyed by the police or the feds.  The only places Homeland Security wasn’t looking at carefully were under the water of the Hudson.

Since New York was becoming a destination for more interdimensionals all the time, the possibility of people with evil intentions shifting to this dimension grew.  One of those people was someone Ramshief Hoorganvisor had been after for years.  He had a huge bounty on his head and was wanted in at least three different dimensions.

His name was Strauvon Jangmen.  He had been involved in one way or another with at least a dozen terrorist attacks that had killed over 1300 people.  His MO was to have two or three locations targeted for simultaneous explosions.  If one bomb was discovered and attempts to defuse it occurred, the other bombs would explode.  Only if all the bombs were detected and defused simultaneously could destruction be avoided.  But Jangmen would have more than one bomb placed at a location to make sure at least one would do damage.  Radio signals would connect all the bombs and if one was interfered with, the others would detonate.

A terrorist cell in New Jersey that Ramshief had dealt with months before still wanted to produce some havok. He knew this and with Drozin around, maybe he could help him defeat the cell.  What he didn’t know was that Jangmen wanted to bring his destructive ways to this dimension.

Ramshief discovered the location of a couple places the cell met to discuss terrorist plans.  One was in Newark and the other was in Fort Lee.  He wanted to plant bugs.  But there was no way he was going to go in and get out without being stopped.  That is where Drozin came in.  Since he could hyperaccelerate himself, he would be able to get in and out without detection.

Drozin transported to the Newark location first and hyperaccelerated to 60,000 times normal speed.  Ramshief had given him microscopic-sized surveillance devices called dots that were so small that they looked like particles of sand.  They would muscularly bond to any surface they came in contact with and transmit both video and audio signals to relay devices that had to be within 100 feet of them.  The signal would be boosted and transmitted upwards to 30 miles away from where it originated.  Ramshief’s apartment was well within range of both Newark and Fort Lee.
