There was one problem.  Since the devices were so small, they only had so much energy stored in their energy storage systems.  They would have to be replaced about every three days.  The old ones could either be sucked up with a vacuum or they would just lie around as if they were plain sand.  If no one examined them closely, they wouldn’t know they weren’t natural. 

The dots were distributed throughout the buildings so that a three dimensional readout could be made and a projection could be created in a projection box.  If you wanted to expand a projection, all you had to do was use the joystick to roam through the building until you came to an area you wanted blown up.  The sound would be isolated to that area too.  

The two buildings to be watched were projected into boxes that measured one cubic meter.  The voices were merged into a cacophony of English and Arabic that to most people sounded like gibberish.  But the computer monitoring the locations listened for key words so that if something needed to be paid attention to, the area where the words were spoken would be isolated and expanded for closer examination. 

Nothing happened the first couple days.  But on the third day before Drozin needed to replace the dots, Jangmen entered the building in Fort Lee and was greeted warmly by six men who were assembled there. 

“Allah be praised,” said the leader of the cell.  “We have been waiting a long time for you.  What have you brought for us to use against the infidels?”

“Before I show you my presents, I need to do something I do in other places where I do business.”

The man pulled some marble-sized metallic devices out of a pouch he had in his jacket pocket.  He went from room to room placing the devices in the middle of the rooms.  It took Ramshief a few moments to realize what he was doing.  Drozin was watching the action and also realized what was happening.  He transported to building after shifting to a nearby dimension so he could observe what was going on without being detected. 

The men hurried out of the building and Drozin followed them.  Jangmen pulled out a control device with a collapsible antenna and a dial.  He flipped on the device and twisted the dial to an extremely high frequency as he pointed the antenna toward the building.  In Ramshief’s apartment, the images and sound coming from the Fort Lee building suddenly were disabled and only static was transmitted.
