The cell members praised Allah and embraced Jangmen as Drozin was watching.  He transported back to Ramshief’s apartment to report in. 

“Jangmen showed the men burrowing bombs and robofish to deliver them.  He’s going to release them tonight and set them off tomorrow morning during rush hour.  More people could die tomorrow morning than what died on 9/11.  He has about 300 robofish to carry the bombs.”

“What do you propose to do?”

“The tunnels can’t be closed to traffic tomorrow morning because bombs have burrowed into them.  No one would believe me.  Also, Jangmen would wait until another time to set them off.  Even if the tunnels are vacant and destroyed, it will be a victory for the terrorists.  It will show that they can hit virtually any location at any time.  I’ll think of something unless you have some ideas.”

“I could transport to where he is and try to stop him before he can implant any bombs in the fish.  But since he knows me, when he sees me he’ll either shoot at me or transport away with his bombs and fish.  He could show up anywhere and send out the fish from there.”

“I’ll think of something,” Drozin assured his friend. 

Drozin shifted to the dimension he had observed the meeting from and transported back to the building he had left and saw the men eating in the dining room and talking about their plans for the future.  If the attack on the tunnels was a success, more attacks would take place around the world and global jihad would inflame the planet.  Jangmen didn’t care about serving Allah.  As far as he was concerned, the destruction of the tunnels was an investment that had the potential to pay off big.  The bombs cost no more than $20 a piece since they were so abundant in the dimension where they were made.  The delivery devices cost maybe $150 each and could be used over and over.  They were each rechargeable and had a range of at least 20 miles.  But costs weren’t important to Jangmen.  He enjoyed what he did and got great pleasure killing innocent victims.  His laughter with his hosts was genuine. 

Drozin scanned the man’s mind to try and discover where he was headed.  But the instant he did that, Jangmen detected the scan and his protective implants and cybernetic systems prevented any scanning and he stood up to leave.
