The people who had once lived in New Drantis probably looked like humans due to the human looking synthetics.  They also lived like most humans.  They had jobs, they ate, they had fun, they worshiped God, and they probably loved each other. 

Drozin found out how things had been in New Drantis when he entered a library on one of the levels.  The museums helped him understand the people a bit and what they recorded gave him a feel for their culture.  But in the library was a day-by-day record of what went on in New Drantis.  As he deduced, life in New Drantis was similar to what life on the surface might be during the next century.  There were even people from the future that knew about Mr. Amazing. 

Drozin didn’t check on what they knew for fear he might change things or worst, find out the day he died.  He just studied what the average alien citizen of the city knew and what they did.  The reason why they left was because the planet they were from was withdrawing its people from earth and other planets in the solar system.  Venus and Mars had big colonies in the system until pollution overwhelmed Venus.  Then those people went to either earth or Mars.  There were smaller outposts on some of the moons in the system and in the Kuyper Belt.  But the majority of the news was about New Drantis and what went on there. 

Before Drozin left the library, he had the computer download the information about people from earth’s future into a secure memory that could only be accessed by Drozin.  He feared to find out what was going to happen to him.  But he still had a way to check just in case curiosity got the best of him.
