KING’S ISLAND
By Cody Tilkins
“BOOM!” the big ride shot off! We finally drove all the way from Indiana to the place called Ohio. We arrived at the gates of kings island and then we bought tickets and walked inside. I was amazed at what a saw!
What I saw was a fifty to seventy five yards and about twenty yards long fountain! After that I was running off with my friends and my family to check out some awesome rides. Most of the rides in the park were either really fast or you’d have to pay money to get to do that ride. The prices around fifteen dollar per ride. That was outrageous! I did not like that very much I though at first.
I did not like the fast rides is because I did not like my stomach being lost at the moment.
Also I did not like the height of the rides. I spent most of the time on the smaller-than-big rides. My first ride was a small roller coaster. Is was about ten feet high and fifty feet long.
I was scared of all big rides until I got to the BIG Eiffel Tower. The Eiffel tower was 1/3 of the real Eiffel tower. But when I knew I wasn’t scared of heights I was ready to go on the bigger-than-smaller rides, as dark approached, I started heading for the BIG RIDES.
I said “hey mom, can I go on THAT ONE? ” she replied, “sure! but where is the line at?” after two minutes we finally found the line! It was around the corner too! The line was long and took about fifteen minutes to reach the line to get into the ride. Also It was about twenty to forty-five people in line. I was finally on and I looked down all I saw was back seats, a black and red belt buckle. Also the black floor was metal. My sister, Tara, was besides me, she is my half sister. But the rest of my family and my family’s friends were in the ride behind me. My family’s names were Cody, which is me, Sarah, Tara, and Kayla. I was nervous when I hopped on the ride, so I told my sister that. My sister just ignored me and looked forward. I was happy to be on a BIG ride though. So the ride started off slowly then “BOOM!” it shot off at about 30 miles per hour It actually went UP the spiral rail. After that we went into a fall. Down we went as I lost my stomach for the first time in a while. The rails were really black, and the cart was red. We loop up and down a smaller one. the ride was short then we went home.
