Can angels intervene in our lives to save us from difficult situations and even death?

In 1992, I was a student living in London, and was also working part-time as baby-sitter.  One day, my best friend Isabella and I were invited for dinner to some friends who lived in Stockwell, south London.  We were very excited as we didn’t go out much, and at around 5 o’clock in the evening we got on the bus.  We lived in Marble Arch, so we thought it would not take us more than half and hour to get there.  When I heard my mobile phone rang, I thought it would be my parents but it was Julie, mother of Lucy, the family I was working for.  She said she needed my help to stay with Lucy, because she had some work commitments to attend that evening.  I explained I was busy, but she insisted and had to agree.  I was very disappointed but decided to leave the bus at the next stop.  When I left the bus, I suddenly found myself alone in a dodgy area. It was getting dark and the street was empty, I could not see any bus stop nearby, and started to walk down the street looking for directions.  I saw a woman and approached her, when she turned over I realised she was drunk.  I asked her for a bus stop but she just could not talk properly and started to laugh very loudly.  The street was already dark and the lighting bad, I got very scared and panicked.  I did not know what to do, and blamed myself for being lost.  Then a bus approached and I run towards it, the bus driver stopped when I waved my hand desperately.  I got on the bus and explained the driver I was lost and needed to get back to Marble Arch.  He said we were in Vauxhall, quite far away from my place.  Then, a man with red hair who was sitting near the driver said he could take me to Marble Arch, as he was going to that direction too.  Without even looking at him I agreed and sat down in front of him.  One moment later, a dark-skinned lady sat next to me and with a warm smile and glancing at the man with red hair said quietly ‘don’t go with him’. For the first time, I really saw the man I was supposed to go with.  He was a big person with thick eyes glasses and a mean smile, but what stroke me the most was the way he was staring at me.  I realised the big mistake I was going to make, and quickly stood up and asked the driver to allow me to leave the bus. Just before leaving I tried to thank the lady who warned me but she had vanished.  I finally found my way and got home safely.  Two weeks later, I went into a newsagent to buy a magazine, when the picture from a local newspaper caught my eye.  I took the newspaper and read the headline ’Serial killer caught by the police’, and next to it the picture of the man who was going to help me to get home the night I got lost.  I just could not believe my eyes! that man had been arrested for murdering young girls, and I could have been another victim.  I thought about the nice lady who warned me that night, without her I would have not realised I was in danger.
