I met Ricky at work, of all places. I was a Law Clerk, Ricky was a copy clerk. Every time I passed him,  I felt my heart turn to jelly. I never talked to him. Having a sexual crush on him I felt so tounge tied. And I was wondering if Ricky had the same feelings towards me as I did towards him.  My love for Ricky was like paradise. I was actually looking forward to going to work so I could be around my sexy, handsome man. So one day, I got bold and I aproached him. “Hi.” I said in a shaky voice. He looked  at me blankly. Like he didn’t care. But I was at the point where I would go crazy if I didn’t ask him out. Finally he said, “Hi.” “M M Y  NaName Is S S s Suzy. I f find you you vev very attractive. Will you you go go to lunch with m me?” I was stuttering the whole time but when you are crazy about a man, you either get bold  or timid like I did. Anyway, Ricky’s blue eyes lit up and he said, “Why not just go out to dinner?” He smiled and His teeth were severely stained. Lust was falling like a waterfall. That day, I was happy. Boy that’s not like me, for usually I am depressed. Ricky was a god send. My dream guy, my sex kitten. He was all I could think about. I was obsessed over him. We went to Popeyes Chicken for Dinner. Ricky was doing most of the talking about himself on how he grew up poor and how he became a street gang member. He told me that he lost five jobs. That his friends were all drug addicts. I listened speechlessly. He was so interesting. And I wanted to make him mine. “Sounds as though you have had an interesting life. I said softly. “Well, let’s hear about your beautiful self. ” Said Ricky as he smiled and his blue eyes flashed. “W Well, I have had a  life.” I nervously said. “I am gifted in music and writing and I hate my job. I have a pit bull named Clarence. I hardly have any friends.” I managed to say all at once. I felt my face turn red as I took a dainty bite out of my biscuit.  “Sounds like you are a very smart, successful lady.” Ricky said as he flashed his brown teeth smile. When the bill came, Ricky picked up the tab. When we got out of the restaurant, I had to say what I felt about him. I wanted to ask him out. He was my man. Why would I not ask him out? “Ricky.” I said, “Will you go out with me?” I breathed all at once. “Sure, I will.” Said Ricky as he stroked my thin mousy brown hair. Then we kissed. I didn’t see fire crackers but I felt them inside. Ricky was all I ever wanted. My Prince Charming.
