A small story composition I wrote when I was nine years young.
I love to write. And all my teachers tell me I’m a born writer. Well I sort of agree, and I’m trying to focus towards being a champion, to be a world famous author. Triond could be the solution, as I am posting numerous articles about random stuff. This article is going to be all original, a story composition I wrote when I was nine. This story reminds me of my younger years, and my enthusiasm into writing. I look at it today and say it is pretty good. Your opinion is what matters though. Here it is-
Story Composition (Has no real title) lol
There once was a drunkard called Jack Rabbit Hippo Dandruff. But you could call him Jack. Jack was a very deft swimmer. He always won swimming competitions. But one day, Jack was chosen to swim in a stifling lagoon forbidden to all living (and dead) creatures. The lagoon was on a legion of volcanic rocks and Jack’s legs were shaking. He had no confidence looking at the scary, disgusting lagoon. But after looking at the cheap swimmers he was facing, he got half his confidence back. After a few minutes… BOOM! They shot the gun and the race began.
Jack was focusing on something else and forgot to dive into the lagoon to start the race. Then Jack suddenly looked at the other swimmers suffering in the deep, scary lagoon. Jack prayed to god and jumped into the pool with a huge, outstanding dive. The other swimmers already had finished one lap while Jack was only half of a lap. Soon on the 4th lap of this 8 lap race, Jack slowly started overtaking them. He was in 2nd place on the 6th lap and finally with no apprehension, overtook the 1st seed and replaced him. Jack was on his 8th lap taking a huge lead when suddenly…
Out of the blue appeared an aerial, vicious basalt in front of Jack’s face. Jack thought that was the royal mascot of this race, so Jack kept swimming and swimming. He was about a foot away from the finishing line when the living basalt swooped him from the water and held him upside down in his left hand. Using his free hand, he took out his adze from his bottom pocket and clubbed Jack on the top of his head, with the result of Jack soaring through the clouds. The other swimmers were struck with awe and pretty soon, they ran away screaming. Jack had somehow landed in his house. He was sitting on his couch feeling very irresolute.
Jack had fallen asleep, thinking about that hard blow he had gotten a few hours ago. It had resulted in amnesia, which everyone can tell knowing all his brain cells were knocked out. A few minutes later the doorbell rang, and Jack struggled to get to the front door. At the door was Turtle Frankenstein Birdie Rex, one of his very good friends who also had swum in the race. Jack offered him some tea and cookies. They sat on the living room couch and started to talk. Soon, Rex started talking about the basalt. And that’s when Jack remembered. After Rex left, Jack started to work out a strategy to conquer the frustrating basalt. “Hey,” Jack thought, “the basalt can’t come underwater….”
To prove his brain cells were knocked out, like an idiot he climbed up the mountain again to face the basalt. Apparently the basalt was waiting for him because when they struck eye to eye, the basalt already had his twisted adze in his right hand, held up. Jack already knew what to do. Quicker than a bullet he dove into the water and went straight for the 50 foot basalt’s legs. The basalt was defenseless, as he couldn’t swim or knew where Jack was in the water. Jack, finding a rock underwater, hurled it at the basalt’s legs, which went to his knees. As Jack went out of the water, now behind the basalt, he quickly made his way up the basalt’s back and onto his head. The basalt, now knowing Jack’s position, swung the adze straight for his head. With stunning grace, Jack moved out of the way and with the blow straight to his own head, the basalt sank in the treacherous waters.
