This is a funny little short story that is based on a real life experience I had.
One day I was walking through a store and realized that it was close to 2:00 and that I was hungry. So I decided I would try to find a nearby restaurant. So I go outside and only see fast food joints around. I think to myself that it would be better if I go to a restaurant that I am served because I am a fancy man and like being waited on. So I hop in my car and drive around until I find Kelsey’s. Since I have been there before I know that I will be waited on so I decided to go.
While I was walking inside a car drove by and splashed slush at my jeans making me utter a couple of curses at the driver. As I steeped inside I noticed the difference in temperature and quickly got rid of my jacket. As I steeped I asked a cute female waiter if she could show me a table for one. As I sat down she told me who my waitress would be, the waitress arrived in a couple of minutes, giving me time to look at the menu. I ordered a burger and then she asked me if I would like a beverage. I said I wanted a glass of Sprite, she told me that they didn’t have Sprite and only have 7Up and asked if I would like that instead. I felt outraged and asked if could have my second favourite drink, Nestle Ice Tea. Again she replied that the only have Brisk Ice Tea.
Seeing that they offer no choice in drinks, I asked for some orange juice and they told me that that they only have orange pop. I was so angry that they didn’t carry any drinks that I liked I asked If the waiter would run over to the Wal-Mart and pick me up some Sprite. She flat out refused and I was puzzled why, eventually I said that I would just have a water with my burger.
As I was eating, I saw a group of Chinese folks sitting down, and being asked what they wanted to drink. They all agreed that the would have a water. This is the cheapest thing I have ever seen, so I go up to them and comment on how cheap they are and they reply that by saving money on drinks they could eat more and grow taller. I laughed out loud because I thought of how the average Chinese man is always short but I never knew that they wanted to be tall.
When I was done my food, clearly stating that I was full, the waitress asks if I want desert. I was thinking to myself should I tip her or should I not but being fancy, requires you to tip generously always so I tipped her. On my way out I realized that I must be dreaming because I just saw a Mac on a Microsoft Ad but sadly I was not.
Very stupid I know, but I felt like writing and this is what came to me. Some parts are better then others, heres a link to a much better story I wrote: Here
