My trip to Turkey.

It all started very well. My ticket no problem, I bought at the airport, has been checked baggage and passport control, sat comfortably at the window and was looking forward to taking off the aircraft. The whole flight was very cloudy, and it was great to see us fly the terrain and with a neighbor to guess about what kind of country is now under us is.
After 3 hours of flight, we were already over Turkey …… I even shed a few tears of joy: mountains, sea, palm trees …
We landed ….. extraordinarily beautiful city of Antalya with the sun shining whispered to me “Welcome!” .  A few minutes later, however, turned out to be welcomed far from me, but the Germans, who for obvious reasons, and were the main passengers. At passport control, I was detained and sent to huge queue for a visa.
The problem was, of course not in the queue, and not even in the 20 dollars that I had to pay for it, and that of my plane no more than a visa is not needed. Visa and passport control took about an hour. My German-passengers no longer be seen, luggage already been issued from another plane ….. I fell into a panic …. Only run around entire airport 2 times and interviewing a lot of people I managed to find my suitcase.
On leaving the airport I was waiting for my bus, full of evil to me the Germans. I apologized a thousand times and explained my situation, I sat on the only free place for about two gay men. Thinking that everything bad should be behind us, I began to enjoy the beautiful view from the window minivan trying to ignore embraces and kisses between my “blue” neighbors.
Approximately 2 hours all the passengers were are brought in their hotels, in minivan there was only myself and 2 of the Turk.
“Are you alone?” – Said the first Turks, turned to me – “This girl like you is very dangerous to travel alone …. even more so in Turkey.”
I am pale …. attempted to lie that I was in another hotel waiting for girlfriends, but got very shaky. He went on to talk about all the dangers that I expect in this town, in the opinion added: “We would be pleased They took you to your hotel, but we do not know where it is …. We are both newcomers to the firm and the name of your More hotel has never heard.
It seemed that my heart jumps out of fear now …. I met with a smile, said: “Then let’s look!”. The search lasted about half an hour, Turks told me during that time his whole life, and though I sometimes doubt about the fact where we were going, the fear gradually disappeared.
After a whipping on the streets the driver shouted: “Here we are!”. The Turks grabbed my bag and suitcase and took me to the hotel. 3 star plus a position 88 rooms, looked uninhabited. “Off Season” – said my Turk.
At the entrance I was waiting for 6 persons, of Turkish nationality.
“You can go” – they said my Turk.
“One ?…. And not afraid?” – Soon followed.
I turned around hoping to see my Turk and jerk back on the bus, but it was too late.
After 10 minutes I already answered the 25-th issue, hoping that this time he finally will be the last, and I can retire to her room.
In the oft-repeated question, why I came alone, I promised to answer later in the hope of something to invent. In my head was turning a lot of heartbreaking stories from the delay on a flight my beloved and evil machinations of his parents, who have always been against our relationship to the failure to pass them to the passport control. But they all contradict one fact-book a single room for one person.
Finally, the Turks, who actually was an Italian, offered to me in my “apartment”. We went on a completely empty hotel, a silence broken only occasionally heard voices Turks.
The room was very nice, even though at the moment I am filled with only one feeling-FEAR. After 10 minutes of the hotel was supposed to arrive, the representative of my travel company to confirm my flight back and report the departure of the aircraft. Even on the bus I was told that the meeting with him is obligatory and is very important, so I decided now to go down to Reception and waiting for him there.
Down, I again expected the Turks, who were delighted at such an early meeting and offered me to drink tea. “Well, since I am here alone among the Turks, I thought – we should start to win their sympathy.” As it turned out, I drank tea with the chief of the hotel, with deputy chief and hotel manager. Time passed, my representative did not show up ….. Turks constantly talking something in Turkish, looked at me and laughed. After 50 minutes I could not stand it and asked them to do anything. They made a couple of calls, the value and purpose of which I am due to ignorance of the language could not understand, and told me that he did not come today, and try to do it tomorrow at 13.00.
“All clear, I thought .- Specifically, they called and told that I would not go back, and that in any representative I do not need. And now, for good or try to invite into his harem, or taken away today somewhere in the Mountains. I got to my room and wept. Before his eyes were sly grin with commentary in the Turkish language in my head spinning words Turk from the bus on  Turkey and the fact of non arrive from my travel agent. I took the mobile phone and message wrote almost a farewell to my sister, then took a shower, changed clothes and went downstairs to the pool.
The sun was shining, sparkling blue water pool, but everything was as sad and lonely.
Suddenly I heard a female voice ….. yes, it was 100% but the young woman’s voice … one of the balconies was a girl ….. God!! She speaks German! Then the speed of my response can not be words to describe: at the same moment I screamed to her “Hallo!” and invited to meet you.
In less than five minutes, as we were sitting in the sun on a chair, telling each other their stories and enjoying each other to meet you.
It turned out that Julian (the name of my “savior”) came here with my mother, just as I was, for a week to rest. She was 20 years old, originally from East Germany (perhaps this explains its special friendliness), but she lived and studied in Hamburg. People from East Germany in general, in my opinion are extremely sincerity, openness and kindness. Before the unification of Germany their lives: food, arranged and education is no different from our … but that is another story.
And so, now I was not alone. Began to feel more confident, began to look around and even has started to admire his hotel, which really was not bad.
During our conversation came up to us a very nice Turkish woman.
Good evening. Well, my beauty, how are you doing? – Very friendly “she said .- My name is Rose and I are responsible for the Turkish bath. I would be very glad to see me!
Then she showed us brochures, spoke about the offer massage and suggested that if we would have nothing to do, go to visit her.
The sun began to have slowly sinking down, as I remembered that I had not been at sea, that had not yet walking under the palm trees and enjoyed the beautiful sea air inhalation. Without hesitation, we Julian departed. Surroundings was magnificent, which only cost the ruins of the old theater. The history of this city was originally very interesting.
City Side is the oldest city in southern Turkey. Its name  means pomegranate, which is around 5 th century from the birth  of Christ is depicted on the national flag and coins.
On the 7 th century the town belonged to the Greeks, and only in the late 19 th century, he moved to the Turks, who were then expelled from the island of Crete.
A special attraction Side is also his gentle very fine sand, which at one time considered a curse of this city. The fact is that despite the great location for a port of trade, the huge port Side Yet once had to be closed, and all because of the fact that all the goods were always covered with sand. Now Side finds its soft sand, God’s gift, since it was he who made this city one of the favorite tourist destinations.
And not in vain! Beach had no equal!
Walking was just great! I could not believe that I can see it with my own eyes that the whole beauty of the moment belongs to me. Only Addictive and lure in the streets of the Turks, as well as passing cars, which are always around you stopped and offered to take, reminded me of how cool I am not alone!
Upon returning to the hotel, we immediately went downstairs to the restaurant where we had waited a table laid for three person (that’s the Turks, immediately have learnt we met) and the awesome decorated with  buds of flowers (unfortunately, I do not know what specifically, so as knowledge in horticulture, I did not spoiled, I can only distinguish a rose from the daisies, say “thank you” for donated flowers and put them in a vase with water).
Dinner was great! We were served one dish after another, and everything was indescribably delicious. I only had time to say “Thank you!”.
Wasted nerves and fatigue from the trip soon made themselves felt, after dinner, I immediately on arrival in your room crashed and slept like a baby, until the next morning.
At breakfast, I had one as my new girlfriend went to ride in a jeep to Safari (not a cheap (40 euros), so I declined).
In the hall sat a guy. For a long time without hesitation, I asked permission to sit for him at the table and introduced myself.
My new friend was a German, I would say the typical German (I will explain later), his name was Christian by profession – teacher, Accounting, aged 30, unmarried, came to Turkey for 2 weeks to write his doctoral work.
And so, you may ask, what do I mean by a typical German?
Dull, sluggish and constantly tired to disgust. Already at 9 am, he yawned, 12 – wanted to sleep, and in 15 hours, dreamed about was to lie and not to move. Sometimes I think that they are even walking to the toilet for the work considered.
I hate those, especially at that age!
By the following features of this kind of people are grumbling, the constant dissatisfaction with all (the sun – is hot, the water – cold, then hot soup, the coffee-soluble, etc., etc.) and all (by me, by the way, at the end of his visit, he too was dissatisfied, though, as it turned out, the ranks of “bad” were huge).
In general, with whom I stay up a long time was: breakfast and ran to explore the neighborhood. In any unfamiliar place, I do always the same: go to a more or less the big street, and then always along it. So it’s impossible to get lost, and at the same time, there is a chance to see many interesting things.
