A man finds himself alone, because he had trouble being honest with his wife about who is and what he is about……

After many nights of arguing she decided to leave. At first it was a relief to have her gone an not deal with the trouble I began to feel when she was around.  The days seemed o.k with the slight chance of hope until the small things she had done began to go undone.  I would come in from work an I would have a my bath ran, clothes out to wear an dinner in the microwave ready to be warmed up once I was done with my bath. To some people it would sound as if I only missed the wifely things she would do. But she was more than that, she was the best friend I needed when I felt my back was against the wall. She would guide me on those days that I was to blind to see what would work best for our family.

I have played the night over in my head a thousand times, an I cant get her walking out the door out of mind. We argue, I suggested we give each other a breather to calm down because we where getting no where with the argument.  I leave to go to the store an when I return her bags are packed an she is on the phone with family asking them to come pick her up. Immediately my mouth drops because I cant believe what she is doing.  We have argued countless times before, an yet she never wanted to leave. We would just go in separate rooms an cool off until we could talk. So this was a first to see her doing this, leaving me, leaving us.  As I watched her walk down that hallway for the last time she looked back over her shoulder and said, I love you an one day you will understand…

I was to prideful to tell come back be with me let me give you the love you deserve. But instead I let her go an my heart went right along with her. I don’t wish this feeling of loneliness on my worst enemy, It’s a bad feeling to deal with. So if you find yourself in the middle of an argument, just keep in mind that she can leave an not come back an when she does, what are you going to do about it.
