One night, Jason watched a swimming competition on television. The well-known swimmer, whom Jason admired, Daniel Bego was a gold-medal winner who had represented Malaysia in the Olympics. He won the first place in the competition that Jason was watching. Similarly, the second and third places went to Malaysians either. This made Jason feel proud to be a Malaysian. He was a swimmer too and has represented his school in lots of competition. To him, he was just an amateur. He hoped that he would be just like Daniel Bego in the future.

          That night, Jason had a strange dream. He dreamed that he was one of the top five best swimmers in the world. He was the representative of Malaysia in the diving event of the Olympics 2012 which was being held in Malaysia.

          “Ladies and gentlemen, let’s welcome the third competitor, who is the Malaysia’s representative, Jason Derulo. Don’t disappoint us. Gooood luck!” the sweet voice of the female announcer came from the speaker. The spectators gave him a thunderous applause as soon as the announcer finished her speech. There were even a group of sexy and gorgeous cheerleaders who were cheering excitingly for him.

          Jason strode onto the diving board, full of confidence. He stood poised on it and, closing his eyes, he raised his arms over his head. He leaped off the diving board gracefully, reaching down to touch his fingers to his toes.

          At that moment, he opened his eyes and all of a sudden, he saw a Spongebob Squarepants soft toy jumped out from the bag of a young girl. It dove into the pool and began to noisily soak up all the water from the pool!

          “Sorry, dude! I’m too thirsty!” the soft toy called up to Jason after it sucked out all the water in the pool. It gave Jason a wink and disappeared in the air.

          As for Jason, he could not stop himself from falling down onto the hard surface of the base of the pool.

          “Ouch!” he cried out loudly in terribly pain as he hit the ground with a bone-crunching bang. Two of his front teeth flew out and blood spurted from his mouth and his head. He had fallen so hard that his head had broken the base of the pool which was made of cement!

          All the spectators and the pool suddenly disappeared as his vision become fuzzy. He found himself lying on the floor instead of sleeping in the bed. He then knew that he had had a ridiculous dream and had fallen from his cozy super-single bed. He must have hit his head on the floor for when he got up, he felt dizzy and saw stars.

          Although he had had a silly dream, he still loved swimming very much. He even signed up for swimming lessons with Daniel Bego’s coach so that his dream to become a skilled and famous swimmer will come true.
