A humorous look at new apartments and the process of documenting issues at move in.

I am doing the inevitable document the company requires at move-in. They provide impossibly small boxes into which to cram information, perhaps inteded for the optimist or those with little to say. I fall into neither of this categories. So far the shower does not work as a bath in any traditional way I am aware of. The little button does not make the water in the shower stop and flow into the tub like it should. I have an either an over-achieving or a terribly vain shower. It’s all about “it”. The hall closet has become fundamentally disgusted at being stuffed with useless things and has come completely unhinged. It’s a fold out runs-on-the-track model. The toilet tends to lurch the sitter forward at particularly vulnerable moments. It is definitely not at all pleasant and really can’t be healthy for either the toilet or the human…Other than these small issues, I like my new place and it is beginning to feel like home. It may be some issues I have to address, but darn if it isn’t going to be fun for them to read. I don’t think they have seen the likes of me yet
