A story I started using my Fursona and her mate from my DeviantArt account.
Just the colors are different.
Read and tell me what you think, also what should be changed, I haven’t written in a while.
The rain pours above the canopy, yet very little makes it through to the forest floor. A unique colored tiger stalks through the trees, his massive paws barely making any sound at all. His ears twitch gently as he pushes his way through a set of closely knit bushes. He keeps his pace, every muscle visibly working beneath his coat. His gaze locked ahead. He steps with a purpose. The stormy clouds suddenly flash a bright blue, exposing the difference between this tiger and others. He’s black with white stripes rather white with black.
As he steps quickly through the foliage, animals such as deer, rabbits, mice, and birds flee from him, whether they’re in actual danger or not. The trees begin to part as the tiger pushes on. Soon, more and more rain make it through the thinning tree tops. His coat becomes soaked as he approaches a flowing river. His piercing blue eyes focusing on what he was in such a determined trot for. An odd colored leopard lies unconscious at the river’s bank. He could smell her strained bodies smell a mile away. The tiger pauses a moment contemplating how to go about this situation. The rain stops as the tiger steps carefully towards the strange feline.
Lowering his head only a couple inches away from the dark grey leopard. How odd. . . the tiger thinks to himself. He then nudges the limp feline and waits. He sniffs the base of the leopards tail to discover it’s female. Her side raises and falls slowly indicating she is still alive. No visible wounds made her being unconscious rather unusual. She looks healthy and her scent doesn’t fit the surrounding territories. The tiger looks over her motionless body. Her grey coat shines in the moonlight. Her black and golden brown spots made her a rare treasure indeed. Feeling responsible for the leopards safety, the tiger pulls her onto his back and tops home carefully.
