No Second Chance

By SizzloRoX

In a small town near the shores a boy was waiting for his school bus. It was early in the morning; the day was still dawning with a cloudless sky. Thinking about what he should do after class the buss arrived with a loud entry. Entering the old and rusted bus with the motor shaking the vehicle, the driver turned over to him and asked for his pay. The boy reached in for his pocket and pulled out 50 dollars and handed it over to the driver. Heading towards his seat that he usually sits every single morning he spots one of the beautifulest girl he has ever seen in his life. He sits next to her and with the corner of his eyes he begins to look at her secretly. While looking at her, he loses his patience and starts a conversation. He starts off by asking her name and her reply was what he was hoping for.

Arriving at his school the bus dropped him off and he figured out the information he was looking for. The girl’s name is Thamires, Mires for short. She is the same age as the boy. He wrote down the first words she said to him which was “and yours?”, “Caio” he had replied with a proud and strong voice making him seem manly.

Caio could not stop thinking of this girl that made his day just by speaking to him. He kept imagining what would happen if he asked her out or going over her house and throwing rocks at her window to get her attention then sneak out to go out on a date.

Day dreaming at his desk in class, the bell rings and all of the students run out of the door as if a monster was chasing them throughout the room. He slowly gets up and picks up his books and makes his way to the bus station. Caio takes the public bus home due to his mother’s punishment, for each bad grade on an exam would add on to his punishment as in removing everything that makes his life easier. Next would be his school bus heading to school at dawn. Usually Caio would complain to himself about his punishment. Although something was making him think about something else.
