Soul Possession.

Strains of the piano can be heard, drifting into my consciousness. A chord here, a note there, flowing seamlessly together. A haunting, lyrical resonance filling my soul, consuming my senses. I am swept away to another time and place, captivated by a mysterious figure – a man dressed in black, his elegant fingers moving effortlessly upon the black and white keys, playing with wild abandon.

I slowly walk towards him, so utterly mesmerized, my heart quivering with yearning. My feet move on their own volition, as if compelled by an otherworldly force, unable to resist. I slowly sink down to the floor next to him by the bench, my gaze heavenward, towards his face. A look of sheer rapture radiates upon his countenance, lost in his all-consuming rhapsody. I close my eyes, overwhelmed by the sheer beauty of his passionate melody.

The music suddenly slows, languidly repeating a single chord, over and over. I feel a hand on my face, gently caressing my cheek. My eyes flutter open, peering into his twin pools of liquid onyx, his expression so fierce. A shiver goes up my spine, my breathing uneven. His right hand continued to play the same cord, as if it was a separate entity, a whole other being in control. And then his lips were upon mine, a soul-possessing kiss that shattered my self control. I gave in to his allure, submitting myself to his magnetic power. Everything I knew disappeared. Everything who I was relinquished. I was completely and utterly his. I belonged to him now.

A nice way of writing your emotions in abstraction and make your readers caught up at the imagination. I hope it’s what you meant or if it’s not, then what could it be (kidding). The very creative part of it is it doesn’t contain nudity but well crafted words mixed up together to come up with the desired rapture, rather peak…whatever you call it. A sensual melody?

    Best regards,

    Will
