Everyone has social Responsibility.

Seeing street children and homeless people always makes me feel sad. Questions such as what happen to him? Who could be responsible for what this tragedy?  Is there anything that can be done to help them? This questions come flooding to my mind.

Being homeless does not only deprive the child from his basic rights but also expose him to dangers of the streets. Where is human dignity in this picture?  Or does he even care? I guess not especially when his stomach is empty.

Sometimes I ask myself who is to blame in this situation. Is it the government who failed to provide adequate dwellings for its citizens? Is it the fault of his poor parents who failed to provide for his needs? Or is it us who have failed to recognized our social responsibilities? Are we capable of such greed that we have forgotten the virtues of sharing, care, and love? Are we self-centered up to the point that we are blinded by this sights? Aren’t we brothers who are supposed to care and protect each other?  We are all responsible here regardless of who you are or where you are. And we can make a difference.
