A random scene, without a beginning…Or an end.

His eyes couldn’t handle the green smoke anymore. Puffy yet living, one amazing feat this was. His voice was barely audible, his legs-thinner than an ostrich. His could hardly stand up during the attendance call. Yet, he was noticed. Because there weren’t too many left. His condition was pitiable-worse than a 70 year old man rotting in his grave. Flashbacks were running in his mind, faint images from his past. Smaller than the donkey, guided by a smiling man, who couldn’t hide his worry. Then, he opens his eyes, in the middle of nowhere. Dry wind slapping in his face. His cries were heard by nobody. Then, bang. A loud, thunderous noise with a huge explosion, far away. A faint idea, made a drop roll down his eyes, confused. Next thing he remembered, green people picking him up and escorting him in a jeep. Twelve years he spent in a machine, lifeless, alive but dead. And here he was now. Someone shook him from this “day-mare”. It was Gilbert, who had been with him since he was alone. He said, “One last time mate, its no use thinking about it all anymore. Remember it day and night, and all you get is this shining precious pearl down your cheek. You are all right now, fit, fine and intelligent. Move on brother, because there is nothing left to be rotting in this garbage here.” There was a point, although he said it so fast, it all reached his mind, set it to work. And even though his heart wanted to agree, he replied, “That’s all I have got to think about, mate. My only memories of this half wasted priceless gift of god.” Gilbert stood, smiled and said, “Well you better not waste the other half in thinking about it. What say?” He smiled, and stood up to move on.
