No one really truly knows where the Celts originated. Sometimes known as Celtoi or keltoi even as Kymri , what we do know is that there was not a united Celtic kingdom. The Celts were a loose confederation of tribes who came together occassionally to battle their neighbours. In a bout 800 bc an army of Celts led by a leader called Brennus actually captured the mighty city of Rome. How could this be possiblly be a loose confederation if they could raise an army to conquer Rome. Not just the Romans but the Greeks as well, moving into Byzantium and eventually settling in what is now known as Galatia. There are references to the Celts throughout europe Romania, Hungary, Switzerland, Germany Obviously France 9once known as Gaul), Celt-Iberia( Spain) and Portugal. So at one time the Celts ruled europe. Eventually the tribes split and formed other poples who became Germans, Franks etc.

In Celtic myth the “Tuatha de Danaan” the deities of the Celts reportadly came from the east , travelled across europe before founding three great cities in or around Denmark. from these fabled cities they departed, some travelled north, some west and some south.Were they in fact not “Gods” at all, but super-human beings, who were blessed with knowledge and skills way and above that of fellow mortals. were the descendents of the Nephilim. Might it be possible that all the so called mythical Gods throughout europe have the same origin. In the Bible in the book of Genesis ch 4, The flood story, it talks of the Nephilim. By all accounts they were a race of super beings who also survived the flood, as well as Noah and his Family. Later in Genesis there is mention of Nimrod, a mighty hunter. Is it too strange to suppose that they were all the progeny of Angels and women who were on earth after the creation. After the flood Japhet , a son of Noah, is said to have moved north and from him all the northern races began.

There will be plenty who will deride these thoughts, observations and conclusions , it does not really matter that much. They said once that Fairies didnt exist, or Aliens. Science can not prove or disprove these theories. They will join all the other theories that circulate our consciouness.
