It is based on Discovery Bay, where only golf cars are used with no other private transport allowed.

No longer did my heart beat at any excitement. No longer did I have feelings. I was a mere mortal of a misfortune. I had lost my integrity, and had no hope. I lay motionless on the sand, felt no remorse on my deed. I had never meant any of this. I was a victim and yet a criminal, relished by the triumphant of the devil.

It was my Birthday and I had invited my friends for a party at the beach. The Party wasn’t due till 5 o’clock. It was 4 when I got dressed up and left with a little bit of enthusiasm.  I met up with my friends at the bus stop which lay ramped up under a gigantic shopping center. One of my friends approached me offering me joints, and I took it without any hesitation. It was something I did concealed from my raisers. A horn blew as the bus approached; we staggered onto the bus finding a group of 6 seats heaped together and sat down. I sat silently waiting for the bus to approach its destination as my friends chattered and stared at girls through the windows.  We reached a private area sealed off from the rest of the City. Private cars were obsolete to that topographic point. The place buzzed with mini golf cars to prevent private cars from stimulating the area with polluting and preventing overcrowding.

Getting off at the last stop we laid our feet and place them rhythmically, walking down the road as if we owned the place. We ran into a liquor store and a tingling sensation ran down my spine, I ordered the shopkeeper for a couple of bottles of liquor, instead I got a abrupt reply from him demanding an ID .You’re barely of age boy; drinking such hard stuff will have your wits out of you before you know it said the shopkeeper.  My wolf like eye’s stared at him and he gave a shiver and handed the liquor over. I met my friends outside the shop; we took off to the direction of the beach. Sand lay over the beach hundreds of meters across in an unnatural way, this disturbed me but I shrugged off the thought and sought to celebrate my birthday without vexing my mind.

Placing the liquor carefully on the sand, I stripped off my shirt. We gathered and sat into a small circle. The vodka bottle lay empty as the game of cards progressed on.  I had hardly taken a drink as I persisted in showing no signs of losing. My winning streak came to an end; I laid the cards down and drunk a great portion causing a great burning sensation down my throat. It wasn’t much afterwards as I settled down. My head spun but I was in my senses. We were losing control over ourselves, just as we had intended to. It was a difficult to dissuade them from swimming, as they had bought along extra clothes. There was fear in me as the currents crashed onto the beach. Not a single one of us knew the cognition of swimming but foolishly stripped off into our shorts making a break for the luminous water.
