Our first house party left us with some differing perspectives, about certain events.
Jake: ” Whats weird about that? I found her phone for you.”
Me: ” Jake, i was trying to text her, if i’m holding her phone in my hand, in order to get her number from it, what good is my texting her going to serve?”
Jake: “Oh Whatever.”
Me: “Thanks for ruining my game too.”
Jake: ” What are you talking about?”
Me: “When you got out of the shower, you were freezing, but i had to help you dress, and then you came and started watching a movie with me and Samantha, You laid down, looked over at us, and I had my arm around her, and you say ‘You two should date, I mean we all have girlfriends except you JJ, and you guys are snuggling and stuff so, why not?’, luckily, you ended that awkward moment pretty quickly by knocking over a full cup of water, you just happened to spill it all over the remotes for the tv, dvd player, and amp. Thanks a lot by the way, we cant change channels anymore.”
Jake: “Dude, I did not spill a cup on the remotes!”
Me: ” Want to bet? (I walk over and pick up the satellite remote, and turn it sideways. Liquid starts dripping from the button holes.) See, Who do you think did this, the water goblins?”
Jake: ” Alright, alright, maybe I wont drink so much next time.”
Me: ” You Damn well better not! I cant handle anymore male nudity, and I think the electronics in this house are permanently afraid of you.”
Well that pretty much sums up our post party discussion, but in all honesty, parties are no fun when people drink so much that they get sick, or dont remember stuff the next day. Those people are fun to make fun of the next day, but they didnt truly get to enjoy the previous night. So I just wanna say, be safe, but have fun, find the happy medium.
