This man uses Gods name in vain. A man I know walks around and calls his self a pastor.

One day I was searching for a new placeto rent. I came across a rental property on craigs list. I went to look at the property. It was what I wanted I moved in. The owner said that he was a pastor. Yet he gossiped about the previous tenants like he was an older woman. He was very nosy. He loved to invade peoples space.

He lost the property & tried  to tell his tenants how to live an conduct them selves where how people decide to live should not even be a concern of his at all. He liked to try and manipulate people. How could someone use God’s name in vain? How could someone call theirself a pastor if they  lie ,steal, cheat, manipulate, stalk & invade peoples personal space? Thank God he sold or lost the property. He lied about loosing the property  till the very last minute & still tried to collect rent for an extra month. I was just way samarter than what he inagined Didn’t he know that he would be found out sooner or later & be called a sneak, a liar,& a jerk not to mention more things .

Why do people who say they represent “God ” as a christian lie ,cheat ,steal ,molest,& con people it’s sad how they lie & call theirself a christian or pastor?

I am sorry you had such a terrible experience. I think that this man does not represent the whole community of Pastors, or, Christians. He is extreme, I admit. So long as you are not looking for a Pastor or Christian that is perfect though. There is no such thing, and if you are, then you’ve ‘missed the boat’ on what Christianity is truly all about. I have to say though, this man does seem to be on the extreme side, and probably needs a lot of help.
However, we need to also show the same grace, that we expect others to show us as well. When you can do that, you will have hit on what Christianity is truly all about.

You’re so right about Pastor Liar, I just hate to see people manipulated by people who claim to be christians but don’t act Godly!

SexyH…Beware wolves parading around in sheeps clothing…perfection is not the trademark of Christianity that many people mistake it for. It is too bad that so many parade under the guise of Christianity and end up hurting and/or misleading so many others. Thanks for sharing your bittersweet experience of how you were hurt, but came to live in a place that you liked.

It’s so common in Nigeria. I hope to expose more of their dubious characters in my next post.

    Thanks for sharing.

Takes a very humble person to be a pastor. It takes people like you to question and bring their inconsistencies to light.

Sexy, I cant defend the man but I most surely can defend the position of Pastor. People are so quick to let a wolf walk them home, and on the other hand fight to let a boyscout walk them across the street. It would be nice if someone on triond wrote a story about a pastor who is doing the work of the Lord. The problem is you have to actually fellowship with the saints to meet the ones who are persevering. I think your piece is very one sided.

Because being fair, kind, and loving has nothing at all to do with religion and can’t be imposed by religion; Integrity is not something someone is,but something that someone must fight to maintain on a daily basis in an objective manner.
