My life isn’t a principles life, isn’t a religious life, but is my life.
If you can handle it go ahead, if you don’t, don’t even bother.
Hello, today I decided to tell you a story, maybe is not a happy ending one, maybe is not something you are going to enjoy, maybe it isn’t a story about birds and blue skies, but it is my story.
If you want to believe it, is up to you.
I live in a town, not too big, not too small, it isn’t that bad but I hate it. I won’t say names, so let’s call it Degeneration Town because that’s how I’ve always seen it.
My life never have been interesting, well never until that day, the day that my life changed so dramatically that I could think I was a movie experiment.
It was July 14th, one day before my birthday, we (my family and me) were coming back from the big city near from this damn town, it was raining just like 4/5 of the year, it was dark…
I was on the back sit, my older brother and sister were in the middle sits and my parents in the front sits, I can’t tell what exactly happened, but I remember a powerful light, just in front of us; I remember an escaping try from my dad, turning the wheel as fast as he could, but it wasn’t fast enough.
A couple of days later I heard that it was a trailer what hit us and that he was drunk, he fortunately died.
When we crashed I got hit by the middle sits and fell to the car’s floor, trapped between the car¡s roof and the seat belt. I couldn’t move, and I didn’t try to, until it started to smell like burning and gas, then I reacted. We were in the middle of nothing, with a car and a trailer on fire, that was going to exploit. With all my effort I took my Swiss army knife that I always have with me and cut the seat-belt, I dragged to the window and started to punch it until it broke and my knuckles were bleeding, I dragged trough the broken windows which produced some hard injuries on my body. When I was out of that car I saw the gas running on the street and the fire getting near to it, I tried to stand up, but I couldn’t so I continued dragging as far as possible until it exploited. After that I only remember waking up on a hospital bed.
